David Botset is a Senior Vice President and Head of Strategy and Product supporting Schwab Asset Management Solutions. In this role, he leads the Strategy and Product Development, Product Management, and Governance teams for the organization.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Botset was a vice president supporting CSIM responsible for the strategy and product development of Schwab’s core products and solutions and the Schwab Money Funds. Before joining Schwab in 2012, Mr. Botset was at Guggenheim Investments for five years where he was responsible for the development of Guggenheim's U.S.-listed ETFs. In this role he oversaw the development of ETFs, and managed relationships with market makers, index providers and other service providers. Prior to joining Guggenheim, Mr. Botset spent 10 years at Nuveen Investments, in groups including investment development, internal sales, and service and advisor client services.

Mr. Botset earned a Master of Business Administration from the Booth School of Business at The University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Indiana University. He holds Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
