Catherine MacGregor is a Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer for Schwab Asset Management and for the Schwab Funds^® and Schwab ETFs^TM. She is responsible for the legal functions supporting Schwab Asset Management.

Ms. MacGregor joined Schwab in 2005 as vice president of mutual funds compliance. Prior to joining Schwab, she was an associate in the investment management practice at Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker. In that role, Ms. MacGregor focused on investment adviser, mutual fund, and hedge fund legal, regulatory, and compliance matters. Before that, she was with AIB Govett, an SEC-registered investment adviser, where she served as compliance officer and corporate secretary. Ms. MacGregor also worked in fund administration and compliance at Chase Global Funds Services Company (now JP Morgan).

Ms. MacGregor earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Laws from McGill University and a Bachelor of Arts in management-economics from the University of Guelph.
