Chris Casal is a Portfolio Manager for Schwab Asset Management. Mr. Casal is a member of the team responsible for the management of U.S. equity index Schwab Funds^® and Schwab ETFs^™.  

Prior to joining Schwab in 2017, Mr. Casal was with BlackRock for three years, most recently as a transition management coordinator where he supported restructuring and in-kind transition management deals for the firm’s clients in the North America region. Prior to that, he was an implementation specialist with Bank of New York Mellon for five years and a fund accountant with State Street Corporation for two years.

Mr. Casal earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in finance from California State University, Hayward.
