Christian Menegatti is a Managing Director on the Tactical Multi-Asset Solutions Team supporting Schwab Asset Management. He leads the Investment Research and Portfolio Management teams for Schwab Asset Management’s separate account strategies that invest in ETFs and mutual funds.

Prior to joining Schwab Asset Management, Mr. Menegatti led macroeconomic investment research at Charles Schwab Investment Advisory, Inc. and served as portfolio manager and chief investment strategist for the Windhaven^® Strategies. Before this role, Mr. Menegatti was a research scholar at New York University’s department of economics and spent nine years at Roubini Global Economics as the global head of research. He has made several appearances on CNBC, Bloomberg, Reuters, and Forbes, and has been quoted frequently by financial press and institutions including The International Monetary Fund and the European Commission. He has spoken at a variety of institutions around the world such as the Carnegie Council, Chatham House, the Society for Quantitative Analysis, and the Institute for International Research.

Mr. Menegatti earned a doctorate in economics from the University of Venice, Italy, and a master’s degree in economics and finance from Venice International University.
