Elizabeth Xie is a Senior Portfolio Manager for Schwab Asset Management. She supports the Schwab international core and global real estate active equity funds.  

Prior to joining Schwab in 2022, Ms. Xie spent 13 years as a global equity portfolio manager and senior quantitative researcher at American Century Investments. Prior to that, she was a research consultant with the ERS Group. 

Ms. Xie earned a doctorate in economics from Stanford University, and a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Beijing University. She is a CFA^® charterholder.
