Holly Emerson is a Senior Portfolio Manager for Schwab Asset Management. She is responsible for the day-to-day co-management of the Schwab Active Equity Funds.

Prior to joining Schwab in 2014, Ms. Emerson spent nearly 10 years at Algert Coldiron Investors LLC (now known as Algert Global), a quantitative market-neutral hedge fund manager. She held a number of positions at Algert, including assistant portfolio manager and director of operations. In her various roles, she acted as the lead portfolio manager for the Canadian fund, conducted macroeconomic research, and managed relationships with prime brokerage investment banks.

Ms. Emerson earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of California, Berkeley. She is a CFA^® charterholder.
