Jane Qin is a Portfolio Manager for Schwab Asset Management. Ms. Qin is a member of the team responsible for managing and designing scalable investment processes to deliver personalized direct indexing solutions.

Prior to joining Schwab in 2012, Ms. Qin spent more than four years at The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation. During that time, Ms. Qin spent more than two years as an associate equity portfolio manager and nearly two years as a performance analyst. She also worked at Wells Fargo Funds Management as a mutual fund analyst and at CIGNA Reinsurance in the risk management group as a risk analyst.

Ms. Qin earned a Master of Science in physics with a minor in mathematics from the University of Nebraska, and a Bachelor of Science in physics and applied mathematics from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
