Pat Liberatore
Pat Liberatore is a Municipal Research Analyst for Schwab Asset Management. Mr. Liberatore is responsible for analyzing and monitoring municipal securities being considered for, or already held by, the Schwab Money Funds. He is the lead analyst for structured municipal securities, and also focuses on fundamental credit in the general government, transportation, utilities, and higher education sectors.
Prior to joining Schwab in 2022, Mr. Liberatore was a debt manager at San Francisco Airport Commission, where he led bond issuance and financial agreement transactions, debt portfolio analysis and operations, managed investor and rating agency engagements, and managed professional service contracts for various consultants. Prior to that, he was at Moody’s Investors Service, most recently as an assistant vice president, where he provided credit risk analysis of debt for municipal governments, enterprises, and utilities. Before that, he was a performance analyst at Torreycove Partners (formerly Pacific Corporate Group).
Mr. Liberatore earned a Master of Science in banking and financial services management from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of San Diego.
