David Rios is a Senior Portfolio Manager for Schwab Asset Management. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of international equity index Schwab Funds^® and Schwab ETFs^TM.

Prior to this role, Mr. Rios was a portfolio manager on the equity index strategies team. His first role with Schwab Asset Management was as a trade operations specialist. Prior to joining Schwab in 2008, Mr. Rios was a senior fund accountant at Investors Bank & Trust (subsequently acquired by State Street Corporation).

Mr. Rios earned a Master of Science in financial analysis and investment management from Saint Mary’s College of California and a Bachelor of Science from Sonoma State University.
