Kevin Shaughnessy is a Senior Portfolio Manager for Schwab Asset Management. He is responsible for the day-to-day co-management of the tax-exempt Schwab Money Funds.

Prior to joining Schwab in 2000, Mr. Shaughnessy spent four years as a portfolio manager with Wells Capital Management, where he was responsible for managing the firm’s California municipal money fund, as well as short duration, private client assets.

Mr. Shaughnessy earned a Master of Business Administration in finance and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from California State University, Hayward. He is a CFA^® charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco and the CFA Institute.
